Beach Soccer Jam FC San Diego Opening Day 3v3 Tournament - Oct 10, 2010 Click HERE for Details and Registration Form Opening Day is a day to get all of our FC San Diego Families together to watch their players showcase their skills in a fun 3v3 competition, take our team photos, provide an opportunity for team fundraising, and get together as a club. Opening Day is typically held at the Rancho Bernardo Community Park in the Fall, and scheduled for the first Sunday of the Presidio Season that our teams do not have games. The 3v3 Tournament is open to all youth soccer players, recreation or competitive who form a team of four members, and is a fun soccer activity that all of our FC San Diego teams participate in. The registration form and entry fee information must be received 2 weeks prior to the tournament. For those not familiar with the 3v3 format, it's a game of soccer played on a 40×30 yard field with only three players on the field at a time with no goalie. It's fun, fast-paced soccer game that highlights ball control and teamwork. Each team comes up with a fun name and designs their "uniform." Awards are given for creativity, but remember that whatever is worn shouldn't impair your ability to play. This year the tournament will been on October 10, 2010 at Rancho Bernardo Community Park. |
